In Week 5 Whanau Koru went on a trip to the Botanic Gardens. In the education room, we learned all about planting seeds and seedlings, how seeds grow, and we had a close up look at some worms! We even got to plant our own seeds to take back to school!
We also had some time to explore the gardens in our groups and saw all kinds of wonderful and interesting plants. We thought we would share these photos to show everyone the amazing things we saw and did during our trip:

| And we spotted some frogs in the tadpole pond! |

| And we found some spikes that fell off a cactus |
| There were lots of ducks! |
